Eight at a Time 

Eight at a Time deals with the big issue of child slavery in a way that small people can understand.  Two young octopuses, Jack and Ruby, are deceived by cruel Crab and forced to make bricks eight at a time.  Though for a time the situation seems hopeless, help comes along from an unlikely person.  Eight at a Time shows that we can make a difference to those in slavery, even if we are small.

The book contains a hidden message for children to discover and points to the work of International Justice Mission, Destiny Rescue and A21.
