Teenagers often have busy schedules, dramatic relationships, techy gadgets, and bursting closets. Some of these may be good, but when taken to excess, they can also get in the way of our relationship with God. We might spend so much time texting that we forget to pray, or we might add so many activities to our schedules that we don’t have time to read the Bible. But God has a better plan; He calls us to simplify our lives and cut back the clutter so we can have the most beautiful future imaginable.
That Was Random looks at 365 different objects, from keychains and paper snowflakes to toy wagons and wedding veils, and shows how everyday objects can remind us to keep our focus on Jesus.
