The authors, Jeffrey and Pattiejean Brown…Jeffrey Brown, an ordained minister, and his wife, Pattiejean, a behavioural scientist, have specialized in family life education and counselling.

Together they have conducted relationship seminars in Europe, Africa, North America and the Caribbean, and co-authored the books The Total Marriage and A Guide to Parenting.
